Order a copy certificate
If a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership took place in Knowsley, you can apply for a copy certificate.
We hold records dating back to 1837. Please provide as much information as possible. Register office staff cannot undertake protracted searches through records.
Fees
Standard Service - certificates posted out within 15 working days
- Full birth certificate (includes parents' names) £11
- Short birth certificate £11
- Marriage or civil partnership certificate £11
- Death certificate £11
Certificates will be posted out by 2nd class mail. It is not possible to collect the certificate from the office.
Priority Copy Certificate Service
A Priority Certificate Service is available which means you will receive your copy certificate more quickly for a fee of £35. The certificate will be posted to you by 1st class mail. This service is available up to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
